My first revamp project

This big sideboard was delivered by the charity shop today. I need to do something to it, but don’t know what yet! Any suggestions are very welcome. It is solid wood with a pretty thick varnish. I guess this was a big piece to choose for my first, but hopefully that will make the rest feel easier.

    Maybe you could do 3 smaller trees if you wanted to go with that design? I love the blog this idea came from btw..!!

    for revamp did you want to make it classic looking, intricate or awesomely tacky?
    I spray painted and decopaged a coffee table I found in the street with old magazine's and stuff, it's in a blog post on this:

    Sorry I didn't reply sooner, but it took me ages to notice I had a comment! I haven't done anything with it yet. I was ready to take it apart and sand it, but didn't do it right away and now I am quite attached to how it looks in here. When the weather improves I will probably do something to it, though. I am still stuck for the right idea. I LOVE the decoupage coffee table!
